WE ARE A LOCAL BASED DANCE GROUP, AND LOVE TO SHARE OUR KNOWLEDGE AND LOVE OF HULA.
Aloha,
My name is Noelani and I am the Kumu hula (teacher of dance), I am a local girl born and raised in Washington. Though my roots are planted on the mainland my heart has always belonged to Hawaii, and our culture. I have danced the hula since I was four years old and graduated from my teacher when I was nineteen, even while I was gone in the service I still tought hula in the Barracks at basic and AIT straight to my duty station.
Sharing my Aloha (love) for hula is my main intent, to teach people the real meaning of hula. I teach traditional hula, some maori, and tahitian. I welcome anyone of any age to learn how to dance.
Our Halau is continuing to grow, and expand throughout Kitsap County. We were able to enter our first competition in the summer of 2018, and look forward to continuing this exciting journey that we are on.
